Taking care…

Over the last few months, I have been focusing on my physical health. I have started working out, walking and getting back to building strength and mobility. My energy levels are 95% back to normal, but I still have some fatigue if I have busy days back to back where I don’t sleep enough. I am still learning to listen to my body, mind and soul.

I stepped away from a position I accepted as a behavioral assistant because I realized some of the situations I may be put in would be difficult for me to experience, and I think I have had enough difficulty the last year or so. Instead, I have decided to work part time in retail, just to get myself out and about. The rest of this year and 2024 are about having fun again.

I am very involved with a local organization called Lunch Break, which allows me to flex my volunteer muscle and lean into helping others. I find a lot of joy in working with High School Students through a program called The Alliance for Success, which is unique to the Red Bank area. I have two students I mentor and it’s been a real joy for me.

That’s about it. Taking life now one day at a time. I have MRI’s every two months and will for quite some time.

For now, I plan on living a soft life, free from stress and eschewing “the hustle”.

One day at a time.
